1. Receive a Notice from BCA:

You will be informed by BCA that your property is due for a Periodic Structural Inspection.

2. Engage a Structural Professional Engineer (PE):

You can engage ML Facade Inspection as your Structural Professional Engineer (PE) by filling out the form below to get a quote.

3. Search Structural As-Built Plans:

Do you have As-Built Structural Plans for your property? Click HERE if you would like us to search plans on your behalf.

4. Purchase Structural As-Built Plans:

We will inform you once BCA allows us to purchase the plans on your behalf.

5. Arrange an Inspection with Us:

After receiving all necessary information, we will schedule a date and time to conduct the Periodic Structural Inspection for your property.

The Building & Construction Authority (BCA) requires structural inspections to be carried out to ensure that the building structures are properly maintained and safe for continued occupation.

  • Once every 5 years for non-residential buildings.
  • Once every 10 years for residential buildings*

*Detached, semi-detached, terraced or linked houses that are used exclusively for residence, and temporary buildings are exempted from the inspection.

As-built structural plans are required so that we can have a better understanding of the foundations and structures of your building before performing our inspection.

Yes. Please notify us of any A&A works done on the building(s) previously. Please kindly also provide us the A&A’s Structural As-Built Plans.

Weekdays, beginning from 10am to 5pm.

Before the Periodic Structural Inspection:

Please let us know if you have a long ladder on site for the use of inspection. It will help us to access to critical parts of the building.
Please kindly inform all tenants/ staff of the inspection’s date and time so that they are well aware that an inspection will be carried out on the day itself.

We will inform you on BCA’s response. It usually takes around two weeks from our PSI report submission date.

Please proceed with the repairs of the building by hiring a contractor to perform the remedial actions.
